PLATE unveils a mixed-use project designed by AD&P in one of the most dynamic areas of southern Monterrey, featuring a functional, refined approach aligned with evolving lifestyle patterns.
Monterrey, Nuevo León, July 29, 2025 – With a history linked to traditional commerce, the Revolución corridor is preparing for a radical transformation.
On a side street of this key thoroughfare —Av. Jesús Cantú Leal—, on a plot of 8,533 square meters, AREVO will be built: a mixed-use vertical project that does not replicate known formulas, but proposes a clear and functional combination of housing, offices and commerce, with special attention to flows, comfort and urban connection.
“AREVO was born from a clear vision: to redefine urban life in an area with history, connectivity, and regeneration potential. The location on Av. Revolución—minutes from Distrito Tec, Fundidora, and Paseo Santa Lucía—represents an intersection between culture, education, health, entertainment, and mobility,” says Rafael Garza Camargo, CEO of PLATE.
The complex will feature two 20-story towers and a smart mix of 171 apartments, over 5,000 square meters of commercial space and 4,600 square meters of offices.
“AREVO is conceptualized as a mixed-use project that could not be conceived without its other components. Commerce, which is a very important component of the Revolución corridor in that area, brings life and convenience to the offices and apartments,” Garza Camargo points out.
The circulation routes were carefully planned, with separate access for residents, offices, and visitors.
“The entire flow of visitors and tenants is carefully designed to interact in the appropriate areas, without sacrificing tenant privacy,” explains the executive of PLATE, the firm that also manages the project.
From an architectural standpoint, the approach was clear.
“The AREVO project required presenting a new post-pandemic way of life, a synthesis of spaces with all services focused on promoting the experience of users and visitors within our project. A development that invites you to visit it and stay in it,” explains José Peña Jurado, General Director of AD&P, the firm in charge of the design.
“AREVO is a project with 'open arms to welcome you', with curved and friendly shapes that encourage contact and interaction between users,” he says.
The large pedestrian portico marks the entrance to the complex, and organically connects the three main uses.
The materials were also selected with efficiency and permanence in mind: materials on facades, windows with DuoVent glass and low maintenance solutions.
The complex includes more than 14 exclusive amenities for residents, such as a panoramic pool, terraces, barbecue grills, pet park, gym, sports bar, game room, coworking space, playroom, jogging track, lounge and more.
“One of the main premises in the design of the living spaces was the understanding that life has changed radically… All the apartments have balconies and large windows that will allow for proper lighting and ventilation,” says Peña.
For his part, Garza Camargo emphasizes that AREVO is a concrete response to the urban lifestyle of the immediate future:
“We developed a comprehensive solution so that AREVO tenants and users can find spaces in ideal sizes with design solutions that enhance the quality of life for tenants and the experience of visitors to the store.”
The project also draws on PLATE's extensive experience, responsible for more than a dozen real estate developments that have made their mark in various cities across the country. These include complexes such as COLONIA, BH Lifework, BH Tijuana, BH Monterrey, Torre Meridiano, Visum, Nidum Puebla, Las Callejas, Loft Studio, and Plaza Encinos, each with its own unique impact on urban life and the design of functional spaces.
“Understanding how office, commercial, and residential buildings work allows us to visualize areas for improvement that we incorporate into the development of new projects, resulting in more efficient proposals with an enriched value proposition,” Garza points out.
In urban settings, AREVO seeks to connect housing with the city and reduce dependence on cars.
“We want future users of our project to be able to count on all these services in one place, avoiding constant travel around the city,” Peña concludes.
The project's showroom is now open, located on the same site where the complex will be developed. PLATE has begun welcoming investors and those interested in being part of this new phase for the southern area of Monterrey.

Infoobras.MX : IO
IO – What was the main architectural inspiration behind the AREVO towers?
JPJ – The AREVO project aimed to present a new post-pandemic way of life, a synthesis of spaces with all services focused on promoting the experience of users and visitors within our project. A development that invites you to visit it and linger in it.
IO – What challenges did designing on a site with access from such a busy avenue as Revolución present?
JPJ – Despite the complex location on Av. Revolución, AREVO is located at the beginning of a side street, Calle Av. Jesús Cantú Leal. This great advantage automatically generates the necessary deceleration lanes for entering and exiting the development.
IO – What architectural elements were included to promote coexistence, comfort, and active urban life?
JPJ – AREVO is a project with “open arms to welcome you,” featuring gentle curves and shapes that encourage contact and interaction among users, and a majestic pedestrian entrance that invites you to explore the development. AREVO presents spaces that “you want to feel and discover,” such as its grand entrance portico and its curved forms that encourage you to wander and explore its spaces.
IO – What materials or construction solutions stand out at AREVO for their innovation or sustainability?
JPJ – AREVO is a timeless project, independent of current styles and trends. The materials used in AREVO are state-of-the-art, durable, low-maintenance, and quick to install.
IO – How is the transition between commercial and residential spaces addressed from a design perspective, ensuring a harmonious coexistence, but with functional independence between both uses?
JPJ – The different uses and spaces coexist harmoniously and in parallel, but perfectly differentiated; access and circulation operate in a completely independent and differentiated manner, strategically located for better coexistence among the different users and visitors.
IO – What kind of atmosphere or sensory and emotional experience did you seek to create for those who live in or visit AREVO?
JPJ – AREVO is a “constant movement”, its organic and curved shapes aim to give users and visitors a sense of connection with nature itself, creating surprising and casual encounters in its different spaces.
IO – How does AREVO incorporate the principles of walkability and post-pandemic resilience?
JPJ – AREVO incorporates three basic uses: housing, retail, and offices. We aim to provide future residents of our project with all these services in a single location, reducing the need for cars and constant commutes within the city. AREVO offers all these uses in highly dynamic spaces.
IO – How did living spaces adapt to new ways of life after the pandemic?
JPJ – One of the main premises in the design of the living spaces was the understanding that life has changed radically. The activities we carry out inside our homes today are completely varied and must function independently to allow for better coexistence among the residents. All apartments have balconies and large windows that will allow for proper lighting and ventilation.
Rafael Garza Camargo – CEO of PLATE: RGC
IO – What motivated PLATE to develop AREVO in this specific location on Av. Revolución?
RGC – The southern area of Monterrey has great potential for vertical development. AREVO was born from a clear vision: to redefine urban living in an area with history, connectivity, and regeneration potential. Its location on Avenida Revolución—minutes from Distrito Tec, Fundidora Park, and Paseo Santa Lucía—represents an intersection of culture, education, health, entertainment, and mobility.
IO – How would you describe the profile of AREVO's ideal customer or resident?
RGC – AREVO's clients fall into two categories. First, investors looking to buy apartments to rent, given the location's robust rental market. Second, residents seeking a well-located area with less traffic than surrounding neighborhoods, who appreciate the convenience of vertical living. Additionally, we also have more experienced investors who choose to explore our pool of office and retail rental properties.
IO – What distinguishes AREVO from other vertical projects currently under development in Monterrey?
RGC – AREVO, like all our projects, reflects a meticulous, almost artisanal process of curating spaces, sizes, design, and even prices. We developed a comprehensive solution so that AREVO tenants and users can find ideally sized spaces with design solutions that enhance the quality of life for tenants and the experience for visitors to the business.
IO – How are the different uses of the project (residential, commercial, offices) integrated to enrich the living experience?
RGC – AREVO is conceived as a mixed-use project that could not exist without its other components. Retail, which is a vital part of the Revolución corridor in this area, adds vibrancy and convenience to the offices and apartments. The flow of visitors and tenants is carefully designed to ensure interaction in designated areas, without compromising tenant privacy. Parking entrances are separate, as are the lobbies for the North and South Residential Towers and the offices.
IO – What vision of city or lifestyle are you seeking to promote with AREVO?
RGC – The Revolución and Garza Sada corridor is set to experience a boom in the coming years, with more AAA vertical projects, similar to what we see today in Valle Oriente. AREVO is advancing this vision by helping to establish the design and quality standards that southern residents can expect in the years to come.
RGC – What lessons learned from previous projects, such as COLONIA, directly influenced the planning of AREVO?
In the conceptualization process of AREVO, we incorporated Grupo PLATE's extensive experience in building management. Understanding how office, commercial, and residential buildings operate on a daily basis allows us to identify areas for improvement, which we then incorporate into the development of new projects. This results in more efficient projects with an enhanced value proposition.
COLINA has been much more than a real estate development: it's a key element in the regeneration of downtown Monterrey, an urban meeting point based on mobility, community, and quality of life. PLATE gained valuable lessons from this project that are directly reflected in AREVO.
